Today we meet El. El was what we would call a Kingdom Kid. Her parents were disciples in the ICOC. She never became a baptized member of the church, but she grew up in the organization as her parents enrolled her in the youth ministry. For a variety of reasons, El states that she believed that she never really fit in with the church. Upon turning 18, she made the decision to not return to the church. El begins to share with us an event that had a profound impact on her life going forward.
